the lodge was super nice n quiet, loved the remote check in so we didn't have to meet anyone. the location is amazin since its just a few steps from shops n the river dee is only a short walk. the room was spacious n clean with a comfy bed. Getting a parking permit for the local car park was a nice bonus. also liked how chill the atmosphere was, perfect for a couple's getaway.
however, the carpets in the lodge need replacing bcuz they looked a bit threadbare. plus, my room had a slight damp smell which was a bit off-putting.

Comfortable Stay with Hidden Gems
We enjoyed our two-night stay in a spacious double room. The rooftop jacuzzi offered stunning views, though it could use some cleaning. Local dining recommendations from the manager were spot-on! For vegans, I noticed limited breakfast options, so plan ahead.

Convenient location with spacious rooms
We loved the convenient location, making it easy to explore everything in town on foot. The room we stayed in was larger than expected and nicely decorated, providing a comfortable stay. the bathroom could use some much-needed maintenance, as the shower head was quite moldy.

Spacious rooms with unique period features and comfortable bedding add a nice touch to your stay. The convenient location allows easy access to local attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area.
The decor feels a bit outdated, and some rooms overlook a conservatory roof, which can make them darker than you'd like. Maintenance could use attention, like fixing the centralized heating during colder months and upgrading the tired chairs and sofas. Water temperature in the shower might not meet everyone’s comfort level, which could be an issue during chilly seasons.

Great stay with a cozy vibe!
We loved our time here! The location is super close to town, which made everything easy. The staff were friendly, although a bit busy. Our room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was solid too, but I think next time I'll grab a bite at a cafe. Just wish there had been more staff around to help out in the morning rush.
